RFID Nalepnice
RFID nalepnice, koje se takođe nazivaju pametne etikete, predstavljaju koristan alat za označavanje proizvoda, a svoju najveću primenu imaju u praćenju zaliha, transportu i logistici. Ove nalepnice koriste RFID tehnologiju i, za razliku od bar kodova koji prikupljaju i šalju podatke vizuelnim skeniranjem, RFID nalepnice koriste radio talase za prikupljanje i slanje informacija te stoga nije potreban vizuelni kontakt između skenera i nalepnice.
Godinama se RFID nalepnice koriste za praćenje zaliha proizvoda i njihov put kroz svaki korak procesa kupovine i isporuke, a danas postaju standardni deo maloprodajnih lanaca zamenjujući nalepnice sa bar kodovima. Samolepljive pametne etikete postavljaju se lepljenjem na proizvode ili druge predmete. Ukoliko se lepe na metalnu površinu, kako bi se sprečilo ometanje komunikacije između čitača i nalepnice, neophodno je postaviti RFID podmetač.
