Fixed Asset Management
Accurate asset records are the basis for preventing various types of losses as well as unnecessary purchases. Therefore, for the management of company costs and regular implementation of the inventory is the basis for meaningful management of fixed assets.
In addition to the fact that the inventory of fixed assets is a legal obligation, it is also a great way for the company to be confident in what it owns. Accurate records of the volume, material structure and physical location of fixed assets are the basis for preventing various types of losses, including unauthorized disposal and unnecessary procurement. Therefore, regular implementation of the inventory is the basis for meaningful management of fixed assets.
The inventory should never be considered a routine business, especially not now because census lists and census reports have become a significant subject of control by the Tax Administration.

Automatic Fixed Asset Management

How it works

Creating and placing RFID tags
Reading the room
The inventory process begins with the selection of the inventory commission and the date of the inventory, and continues with the reading of the RFID sticker of the room.
Each room is tagged with an RFID tag that contains unique room information such as location, room number and other information as requested by the user.
All assets listed in the current room will be automatically associated with that room, and by reading the sticker of the new room, the fixed assets will automatically start joining the new room.

Fixed asset reading
Next, the fixed asset labels are read one by one.
Each fixed asset is also marked with an RFID fixed asset label containing the inventory number, nomenclature, description and status of the fixed asset, and it is also possible to enter the IDnumber of the employee who owes the subject asset.
In case of impossibility of reading for any reason, manual entry is also allowed. In case of discrepancy of the read data for any reason (label incorrectly affixed), it is possible to correct the data stored in the RFID label on the spot. Of course, the previous two functions are protected in such a way that they can only be performed by a person who has the appropriate RFID authorization card.
Who can use it
Many of us have personally experienced when going to the store only to find out that it is closed due to inventory. Depending on the number of fixed assets and where they are located, the number of employees, existing software solutions, procedures, business volume… Doing an inventory can take a long time. At least a part of the employees will be prevented from adequately performing their regular work, and they will often lead to a complete interruption of their basic activity in order for this legal obligation to be fulfilled.
Infotech Studio’s system for automatic inventory of fixed assets enables fast, efficient and accurate inventory, which is especially important in institutions and companies that have a large number of fixed assets.
